Small Glass Mushroom – Made in Australia by talented Aussie glass artists Faerie Fleur.

Small Glass Mushroom glows in the dark, and Handcrafted glass mushrooms are, made on the torch with glass rods. Each mushroom, shaping and blowing, tooling. Reheating the glass all the while, thrusting it into the intense flame. Once the desired shape is reached, we “knock it off”. and superheat to finish the end to get the fine point at the base. This gives you the length you need to “plant” your mushroom. It is then put away to relax in 520-degree Celsius heat- called the annealing process, which takes a further 4-6 hours. Just as every fairy is unique, so is each of these adorable mushrooms. The fairies will be checking them out as soon as you “plant” your mushroom.

When I get on the torch it is truly a relaxing and rewarding activity.
