At Tamborine Glass Blowing, we offer Glass Blowing, Torchwork Classes, Kiln Form, and Mosaic workshops in groups of up to 12. We also take private bookings and can teach one-on-one, couples and small groups for beginners.
In our Shop you can buy our fabulously hand crafted glass works, or you can commission your own works.
We also offer Memorial orbs to celebrate the life of a loved one, Ashes in glass Art, & also for pet memorial art in glass.
Choose from our 2 hour classes
Make a practice piece, a bowl and a glass or vase.
This class is designed to give you real hands-on experience with 100% support. Where needed – meaning, if you are going well, we physically support you less, whilst still talking you through if needed.
A great place to start for a hands-on person.
Glassblowing with your best friend (2 hours, make three pieces each). You will make medallions in molten glass—pressed, super-heated, and stamped. With your colours and breath, you’ll each get to blow, & create a bauble, or “Bauble-arium” each. You’ll assist your bestie throughout the session.
Bring your own wax seal stamp, or use ours.

Choose your own colours, I’ll demonstrate with your colours to go through the techniques, and then we will do it together.
Perfect if you have done the besties class – & a fabulous way to experience the “Solo class” with your Bestie, being more hands on than the 2 hour Besties class.
2 people over 4 hours – Make up to 6 glasses Mornings Only. Let us know what you would like to make and we’ll see it it is within your skill capacity at the time.
Start with a short tour of our studio, followed by a demonstration & familiarisation on how & what you’ll be doing next! With a hands-on approach, Faerie will offer as much or as little help as you need, with super clear instructions guiding you every step of the way. Imagine the vibrant colours and combinations of your mouth-blown glass melting before your eyes as you work the glass. Pick up your pieces the next day, or we’ll lovingly wrap them and arrange postage to you- (domestic shipping). We also have stands available for purchase so that you can display your beautiful creations all year round. There’s nothing quite like the experience of enjoying your hand-crafted glass piece.

2 hours Torchwork With Your Bestie
Learn how to make lampwork glass pieces using a torch in this exciting glass-making class for beginners in Tamborine Mountain. You’ll learn how glass moves, by making stringers, & then moving on to create a standing snake. Glass heart pendant, mushrooms or perhaps you’d like a bunch of flowers? We can do that! Taught by experienced teacher and glass artist Faerie Fleur, you’ll be delighted with your glass ornaments and creations by the end of the class. Your works of art will be available to take home within 3-4 hours of making, although flowers are available very soon after the class. A fantastic option if you’re looking for fun activities in Tamborine Mountain, the green behind the gold.

Join us for a delightful mosaic-making session in our garden. Use our tools and expertise to combine life and art. Choose your piece to create with, we have a large range to choose from: small – large pavers, small table, we have touch lamps and more for your project. Our selection of tiles & glass available will amaze you!
Experience mosaics in the garden! Enjoy our creative space, using our tools and expertise to help you blend life with art. The range of tiles and glass available will amaze you! You can choose from a 30cm marine ply, a small or large paver or if you’re a 3D enthusiast, we have a selection of small items perfect for you.
Glass Fusing –Creature Creation Class
This beginner-friendly class offers you the chance to create a set of four Christmas decorations while learning the basics of kiln-fired sheet glass. With a wide variety of colours and textures, you’ll find yourself immersed in the creative process. Once your four designs are complete, they’ll be fired into the kiln. You can collect your creations the following week or arrange to ship them to your preferred address.
Our workshops are held in a beautiful garden setting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, our spacious studio has plenty of room. We provide all the necessary tools and glass, but if you want to get a little fancy, we offer a range of specialty glass at an additional cost. We can’t wait to help you create magic with glass!
In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the art of glass fusing. Create stunning fused glass pieces while learning essential techniques in our vibrant and creative studio environment.
This introductory class offers a fun and creative experience using frit (crushed glass) to explore different textures and endless design possibilities. Design your own set of coasters, a bright and concise experience in glass-making. Your beautiful coasters will be fired and ready for collection the following afternoon or can be shipped to you.
All tools and glass are provided for the workshop. Enjoy light refreshments in the garden as part of your creative session.
In this class, you’ll create a three-dimensional figure from glass using frit for different textures and limitless possibilities. You’ll design a four-legged creature—or anything else you can imagine! We also have templates to help guide you.
Choose your colours, and we’ll walk you through the basic techniques to create your standing glass sculpture. Some prior experience is preferred to complete this in one session.
Your cool glass creatures need to be fired twice and will be ready to pick up the following week. Light refreshments will be provided, and the workshop will be held in the garden or the studio, depending on the weather.
This introductory class offers a fun experience for kids and adults alike! Using frit, you’ll create a set of four mini creatures. This bright and creative concept is perfect for young glassmakers. Your cool critters will be fired and ready for collection the following afternoon or can be shipped to you. Light refreshments are provided and the class is held in the garden.
This class offers a huge range of mosaic tiles, glass, shapes, and colours for you to work with. All tools are supplied in our studio, and light refreshments are provided. This class best suits those with prior mosaic experience or crafty types eager to learn. The bust you create can even be lit from inside with low-watt lights, turning your work into a functional, illuminated sculpture—a true masterpiece by you!
GLASSBLOWING
Found as an extra when purchasing. Both of you will make a coin, in molten glass. Pressed, super heated and stamped. With your colours, & your breath…… You’ll make a bauble-arium each. (bauble) you’ll assist your bestie throughout the session by “puntying-up”, & door marshall bring your own stamp, or use ours. Brass stamps used for wax seals are perfect
